These Terms of Use govern your use of Dementia Games: Brain Teaser (“App,” “Game,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

Dementia Games: Brain Teaser is a brain-training and puzzle game designed to provide simple, engaging, and mentally stimulating activities for adults and seniors. The App may include memory games, matching games, logic puzzles, focus exercises, pattern recognition, and other casual brain teaser activities.

The App is intended for entertainment, general cognitive engagement, and lifestyle use only.

2. Not Medical Advice

The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease or condition.

The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, cognitive decline, or any other health condition.

Any information, exercises, scores, progress tracking, or game results shown in the App are for general entertainment and personal use only. They should not be treated as medical conclusions or professional health recommendations.

If you or someone you care for has concerns about memory, cognition, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, mental health, or any medical condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Emergency Disclaimer

The App is not designed for emergencies. Do not rely on the App for urgent medical, mental health, safety, or caregiving needs.

In an emergency, contact your local emergency services or a qualified medical professional immediately.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your country or region, you may use the App only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

The App may be used by caregivers, family members, or adults assisting seniors, but the user is responsible for ensuring that the App is used safely and appropriately.

5. Safe Use

You agree to use the App responsibly. Some users may find puzzles, timers, sounds, visual patterns, or repeated tasks challenging or frustrating. Please stop using the App if you experience discomfort, stress, confusion, dizziness, eye strain, or any other negative reaction.

Caregivers and family members should supervise users who may require assistance using mobile apps or games.

6. App Features

The App may include free and paid features. Features may change over time as we improve the App. We may add, modify, or remove games, exercises, visual designs, progress features, difficulty levels, sounds, animations, or other functionality at any time.

We do not guarantee that any specific feature will always remain available.

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer optional in-app purchases, premium features, or auto-renewable subscriptions.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.

We do not directly manage Apple App Store payments, refunds, cancellations, or billing issues. These are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.

8. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

We may offer free trials, discounts, or promotional access to premium features. Trial availability, duration, and pricing may vary by country, region, user, or promotional campaign.

At the end of a free trial, your subscription may automatically renew as a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.

9. Refunds

All purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple’s refund policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support or use Apple’s official refund request process.

We cannot guarantee refunds for purchases made through Apple.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how information is handled.

The App may store certain game progress, preferences, scores, or settings on your device to provide a better experience. If the App uses analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or other third-party services, this will be described in the Privacy Policy.

11. User Content

If the App allows you to add notes, names, images, audio, or other personal content in the future, you are responsible for the content you add.

You agree not to upload, store, or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, misleading, infringing, or violates the rights of others.

We reserve the right to restrict or remove features if they are misused.

12. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, games, puzzles, characters, icons, animations, text, branding, and other content, is owned by us or licensed to us.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the App or its content unless permitted by law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

13. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or harmful purpose.

• Attempt to hack, modify, damage, reverse engineer, or interfere with the App.

• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or unauthorized methods to access the App.

• Copy or misuse the App’s design, content, branding, or intellectual property.

• Misrepresent the App as a medical product or diagnostic tool.

• Use the App in a way that could harm, mislead, or exploit vulnerable users.

14. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services such as analytics tools, advertising networks, payment systems, crash reporting tools, or Apple App Store services.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, or practices.

15. Updates and Availability

We may release updates to improve performance, fix bugs, add features, or make changes to the App. Some features may require you to install the latest version.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the App at any time.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, availability, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the App will improve memory, prevent cognitive decline, treat dementia, or produce any specific health, cognitive, or lifestyle outcome.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, personal injury, emotional distress, device issues, or reliance on App results.

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

You may stop using the App at any time. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions must be canceled through your Apple ID account settings.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we may update the “Last Updated” date above.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

20. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s terms and policies, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, where applicable.

Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the App, except as required by applicable law.
